As others have noted, the drug use in WY is pretty different from other parts of the country. I was in high school during the height of the prescription opioid epidemic and prescription pills WERE widespread and easily accessible. Most of the kids I knew had tried and had easy access to pills. I don't really know what happened but it does seem like pills have mostly died down in the last few years and other opioids just never really made it into the state.
