I had to have emergency surgery to stop the blood loss I was experiencing. I lost enough blood that they did 2 transfusions and a potassium drip afterwards. I woke up at 2 am screaming for someone to help. The nurse ran in and had to hold me down to keep me from ripping the IV out.
